How do we keep your fish fresh?

The faster you can get your fish into the freezer, the fresher it is going to be. We base our whole process off this concept, and we have created a method that minimizes time that it takes to get your fish from the boats and into the freezers. As soon as your coming into the harbor, you can give us a call, and we will send fish haulers straight to your boat. Our fish haulers will then run it back up to our processing plant, where we will weigh it, and then ice it. We then store it in our walk in cooler until it is ready to be cut. This way the fish is kept cold all the way up until we are ready to package it, which ensures the best quality. The fish then enters the processing line where it is cut, bagged, vacuum packed, trayed and put into -40 degree freezers until you are ready to come pick it up.

How do we make sure you get the fish you brought in?

To keep track of the fish we have the customers fill out invoices with their names, phone numbers, and if they are still fishing or not. We then put a tag with the fish that has the same number as the invoice. The tag stays with the fish and is put on the tray that your fish is put on after it is packaged and vacuum packed. Your fish is then put into the freezer, and the location is put on the invoice, so that when the customer comes to pick up their fish, we can quickly and efficiently find it, and box it for them.
